Olympics
The Olympics are a series of events that take place every four years. This includes the summer and winter Olympics. Some of the nine original sports held were cycling, fencing, swimming, tennis and shooting. The Olympics are a great event because the attending of the Modern Olympics and because Curling in the Winter Olympics.
First, The Modern Olympics have an interesting past. The Modern Olympics have a total of 301 events. Everyone has at least one event to look forward to. In addition, The Olympics were continued in 1896. During that year, the Olympics were in Athens, Greece ("Multimedia"). Additionally, in the first Modern Olympics, 13 nations competed. They most likely competed with the nine original sports (“History”). The Olympics also included Winter Olympics such as Curling.
Second, Curling is a Winter Olympic game that is very fun to watch. For instance, Curling requires balance and teamwork. To someone that does not know about curling, they would think it does not take any skill at all ("Vancouver Olympics FAQ"). Even more, almost every year Canada is predicted to win at the event. Overall, they have won the most medals for the event ("curling"). Although, there are competitors that also win a fair amount are Sweden and Switzerland. USA over the years does not have a high prediction rate to win ("curling"). Even though curling is an entertaining event, there are plenty other exciting events to enjoy.
In conclusion, the Olympics are always an event to enjoy. It is thrilling to watch a country go head to head with others. They are great events because the Summer Olympics are exciting, and because the Winter Olympics are as equally great.
